I know, I know, this was carelessly photographed, then I couldn't find the resources to straighten it.  Oh, well.
I have been studying and studying calla lilies.  I have seen photos, paintings, and taken photos myself of real ones.  I have finally begun to get the idea.  This is the result of one of my first lilies.  They will get better if I just keep going.  It is so fun to work in a medium I have not been successful with in the past.  Yeah, watercolor.

More 'Junk' Art

 

There I was in the garage last week, determined to sort and clean, and use or lose the stuff that has piled up since the beginning of time...

In working through the tools that I haven't used (at all) I came upon some drill bits of my dad's.  Many are duplicates of those in a set I have, so I just had to get them out of their comfortable little box and put them to use.  As I was enjoying their aesthetic qualities, I thought of my dad's work shop . . . and Tiffany's (my niece) school experience with her award-winning flag/team.

So, Tiffany, this one's for you! 

OK, so . . .  I pick up old, mutilated, rusty items on the ground when I find them.  They fascinate me, what can I say?  This particular bit of technology was irresistible to me.  I coupled the mutilated wiring with my never-worked-well Motorola Bluetooth and came up with this piece of 'art'.   Hopefully the humor is obvious.
